Brief: To transform the traditional English garden (which suffered from years of drought) into a more usable modern design.
Solution: Remove all the lawn areas, replace with informal timber-edged paths made from Donneybrook topping. Create a decked approach to the house with merbau decking and timbers steps, bed areas for native plants and dramatic mudstone boulders. Continue the theme into the back garden and the existing pool.
