A brief background

John French has been designing outdoor spaces for over 20 years since achieving a Bachelor of Science from Latrobe University in 1975, a Diploma of Education from Hawthorn State College in 1978 and a Certificate of Landscape Design from Burnley College in 1981.

John has a diverse range of experience under his belt such as schools, factories, hotels, hospitals, commercial developments and of course private residences.

Every project gets the creative treatment which has resulted in several features in House & Garden and articles in the local press.

The creative process

From the first consultation we assess your house, the surroundings and your individual requirements to create a unique and functional design to suit your budget.

We then present to you your draft plan, drawn to scale, which shows the full plant list and instructions for any hard landscaping required. Any necessary modifications are discussed at this meeting before the final colour plan is produced.

From your final plan, we can project manage the whole design from start to finish or oversee individual contractors on a consultancy fee basis.
